Sorry, I must admit I haven't read the rules of this forum yet. They obviously must be different to the rules of most other forums I've joined as I've never heard of the idea of threads being "dead" before. I always thought if you had something new to add to an old thread it was perfectly ...

That was interesting Captain Howdy, but it doesn't show much in the way of amusements other than mini-golf and waterslides, plus cinemas (presumably upstairs above the shops and restaurants). Maybe there was more to it but from that illustration it seems like we're better off with what was actually ...

Yes Burnside village does seem to have that snobby reputation, but I don't know why. When I went there I didn't think it was anything special at all!

Yes I agree. I saw it last weekend for the first time since completion, and whilst there's nothing mind-blowing there and they could have spent a lot more on it, I do think it looks very good and helps integrate the holdfast shores development into jetty road very nicely. Glenelg now is unrecognisab...

I might also add that whilst it looks alright from the front, the beach-side of the building is quite ugly, as had been said by many people already.

That's a pity, but all the more opportunity to correct this if they extend it out towards the beach a bit! And bring back the sky-cycles please!

Hi Pushbutton, thanks for joining the forum. We're sure you'll be a great asset to the site so thanks once again. Onto shopping centers... don't forget Centro Arndale too that was recently approved. Exciting times ahead for Adelaidians. With Arndale I'll believe it when I see it. Plans were origina...

I am quite impressed with the BeachHouse, but would like it to have been about twice the size, and with twice the number of rides. Nonetheless it well and truly makes up for the loss of Magic Mountain, and again provides Adelaide with some sort of half decent excuse for a theme park (of sorts)! Mayb...

Trust me it's a VERY good thing! Unfortunately it's too late for me to benefit from now but for future generations of school students it will be great. Most of Adelaides existing schools are so dilapidated that they're almost unsafe for use. These superschools will make Adelaide a much more attracti...

Yes I agree it should be closer to the city, but Marion is a good choice because its next to Adelaide’s Biggest Shopping Centre (Westfield Marion), close to Glenelg, fairly close to the CBD, cultural centre and the best part its next to a train station (what is about to be redeveloped). Anyw...

As I've said in the other Westfield thread, I would like to see it not so much increased in size as improved in quality. Much more parking is needed and the food court is usually hopelessly overcrowded, so I suggest a need for a multi-storey carpark, or a couple of them maybe one either end of the c...

Just joined the forum! I have to say this is a forum I intend to visit a lot as I'm fascinated by this type of stuff, especially when it comes to shopping centres, and I always try to keep in touch with planned developments!!! Anyway to add my 2 cents worth. I have a close working relationship with ...
