Harbourtown in the Gold Coast is currently undergoing an upgrade which also includes a small extension (more restaurants).

The main feature of the upgrade is much higher quality paving.

The brand new Westfield Coomera in Queensland has an outdoor dining area which is extremely similar to the TTP extension. Even the new Event Cinemas look and feel almost exactly like Hoyts TTP!

Tea Tree Plus is a planning nightmare and should never have been granted planning permission. As most of the stores are currently empty now would be a good time to relocate them into the main building and demolish T ea Tree Plus so they can extend the centre properly.

I think the new facade will look quite classy. That wouldn't have been the case if it were covered in LED signage.

Rundle Lantern is an improvement to what was quite an ugly building. I think this will be too!

My only reservation is the airport may lose its light, spacious and relaxing feeling. That to me is what makes it such a pleasant airport compared to most others.
