Would be interesting to see what kind of apartment sales/office sales/lease theyve had insofar. Alot of other developments in both categories are around at the moment so its likely that some of these proposals will fail. For the sake of the southern CBD i hope this eventuates as it would be a cracke...

Re: Prospect | Churchill | Main North Road - Development & N
I agree the comparisons made to slums are poor. However I agree with the basis of the article, there are some pretty uninspiring and poor designs that have been proposed or built so far. Would be happy to see the amendments Raus suggested come into effect.

Some nice looking towers. The Irukandji jellyfish are keen on the apartments, have seen a few studies suggesting their migration patterns are taking them further south. Would be a disaster if they were to make it down to the GC.

I don't think he's a troll. My take on him is he's a lost Adelaidenow contributer/possible liberal staffer. Wants to have his say without paying the $3 a month or whatever it is they charge. Moving back on topic, does anyone know what the sales % is for this development? I'd really like to see the b...

Perhaps this Jinwei group that has partnered up with Datong is the reason behind the the activity on the site of U2. However, lets see if U2 can be fully revived from obscurity before we get out hopes up!

From what I can see, this building looks quite nice! I like the contrast it has with the surrounding grey/orange buildings. Western CBD on the rise

Im torn. The design is an improvement on the 90s goldcost proposal originally put up, yet the density remains which may be (dare I say it) too much for the area. It is however directly opposite the park lands which I believe should allow for some leniency regarding the density/scale of developments ...

Hello all - happy new year. There's an article in todays advertiser discussing the spate of 100m+ proposals proposed/in the works within Adelaide that's centered around this building. According to Palumbo, 'around 70% of the design of the hotel has been complete' and construction is anticipated to b...

Was browsing the DAC website in my spare time and noticed that there's a hungry jacks + petrol filling station proposed within Lightsview along Hampstead Road. The proposed petrol station will be very close to the recently completed Caltex on the corner of Hampstead/Folland Avenue. I couldn't find a...

Getting back on topic, the original post for this development depicts two other buildings to presumably be built along with the twin towers. Any updates on these buildings? I Wouldn't be fussed if that average looking concrete building never saw daylight, however the slim hotel has some merit too it.

Have the current approvals lapsed or were they granted an extension?
Hopefully 'exciting new plans' aren't a watered down version of the current approvals, which were quite impressive from memory.
