[APP] Re: 74-79 King William Street | 136m | 42 Levels | Mixed | Potential new tallest

Very excited about this one. Would have to be sleek high end design. ANOTHER 40 level bldg.. and on KWS. Will give a real urban 'feel/backdrop to the street. If this goes up with all the proposals for 30+ floor bldgs it will amount to 8, 3 of which will have a similar height as the current tallest! ...

In a very noticeable place in the city. Looking forward to the renders. A new tallest!!! Big buildings are finally appearing in Adelaide. Talking to young people in the CBD they are discerning that the city is on the move - they ALL love it. Mentioned the 30 storey plus buildings but they already kn...

[VIS] Re: interstate passenger trains back to the Adel Railway Station

Mt two cents worth on the matter of bringing in the interstate trains to Adelaide central - no - one has mentioned dual gauge. One track of the 9 current tracks could be extended as dual gauge. It will be able to be used by any metro trains. (only blocked off while an interstate is standing there). ...

The 'sponge' - I love it. To me it's a shocker. It seems we are picking up on the London idea of naming buildings by their appearance.

in reply to Ben's last post re BHP - I am really encouraged that something is finally going to happen. With ther developing medical precinct and the recent ship construction deal SA looks to be coming out of 'the valley' of death earlier and better than I expected. Such buildings as this (and flow o...

That building reminds me of a shot out place in a war zone when viewed from a distance - name ...as someone has said....something similar to stalag 13.

As someone said, great idea. Will stand out but looks tacky. I'd be surprised if the colours can't be changed though.

I would like to rename some of the streets with multiple names into one name each. One of the worst early examples is the change of names across KWS (aparently just so the king's name would not be crossed).
