On Friday, the State Government called for submissions from the private sector to redevelop the site bordered by Gouger, King William and Wright streets. It is looking to consolidate the courts inside one block, as well as legal, government and private sector tenancies. Great to hear the Government...

Re: #UC: 5 lvl Car Park & Pedestrian Plaza - Adelaide Airpor

The difference is they'd much rather blow up a car in a drop-off and pick-up area that is located right adjacent the terminal building so that it actually damages the terminal as well which is actually what happened in Glasgow. The damage to the terminal wasn't significant but that is what they were...

Re: #UC: 5 lvl Car Park & Pedestrian Plaza - Adelaide Airpor

Drama, drama, drama ... It isn't even finished and people can't help but whinge. Stupid questions from Senetor X. What does he think Adelaide Airport chose to spend millions of dollars for the fun of it? Anyone could tell it has been to improve security measures after the 2007 Glasgow Airport car bo...

"As we finalised the details of the project ... it became clear that the right decision for the company and its shareholders was to continue studies to develop a less capital-intensive option to replace the underground mine at Olympic Dam," Mr Kloppers said. Kloppers has wasted so much mon...

Re: #Official Mining Thread

Clearly SA isn't in as bad a position as the 90's and early 2000's. The economy has diversified more since those years and there has been growth apart from mining. However Olympic Dam has been talked about for the past 7-8 years and this has helped SA's growth as we have always been about to boom an...

Re: #Official Mining Thread

The government can talk about other mining projects and BHP can talk about a scaled down version of OD. They aren't enough for SA. We really needed a significant development to lift our economy. Thankfully we are not in a drought now too as the agricultural sector is doing well. If that was sufferri...

FFS !!!

SA really can't catch a break economically. Wanking around for more than 7 years and finally it's ready to be approved and 6-8 months out everything falls in a heap.

Major blow to SA!

The upgrade of 41 Currie Street was mentioned a while back but it was in the Commercial section of today's paper. The upgrade is due to commence soon: Nothing too special but the external changes are an improvement on the current appearance of the building: http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/Urba...

Great shots phenom! Please don't hesitate to take more from that position, a great outlook over the city from the south.

This and 70 Franklin are having a great impact on this side of the CBD. A side of the city that has been neglected for too many decades.
