[SWP] Re: Former RAH Site (Design Competition)
I appreciate the creativity of this person's proposal, however they obviously don't have an idea of what a concert hall is... Because it wouldn't fit in a building of that size. Furthermore, having lone space and sports museum/s is kind of unnecessary if our state museum had the capacity to have are...

Re: Port Adelaide | Developments & News
Just a thought, though. That's definitely the government's way of saying ta-ta to the Fisherman's Wharf market shed, building on that site will remove almost all of the market's parking. If the markets do close for the sake of the port's history, I'd like to see that shed completely refurbished and...

Wow! I was skeptical about this build but I will now lay down my sword, that video makes quite an impression. The red cladding in the renders is so much more subtle compared to the glass.

Hang on a second, if the site the government are putting out for tender is on the corner of Nile and Robe Streets that would mean that the renders posted on the previous page are obviously one of the designs that have been submitted... Nice!

Haha, we could very well be neighbours! This shot looks an awful lot like my view of VUE from my rooftop terrace on Gilles Street.Wayno wrote:

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
Size wise, would the Gawler Place Dick Smith's shopfront provide a suitable location for an Officeworks? My memory is pretty shot, but I seem to think it was a rather large floor plan. Obviously it wouldn't be the size of a suburban Officeworks, I'm thinking more Melbourne CBD size. Thoughts?

Clever, but still don't like the idea of washing out the hotel building on the corner.

Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment
What do you guys think of the new RoofClimb bridge? Here is an image I stole from Channel 7. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CciEHiNWwAAUjBS.jpg:large ] I noticed that riding past this morning. Personally, I would have painted it black or grey so that it visually would look just like a piece of service...

Not sure how realistic this proposal is. Re: Aldi Distribution Centre | Regency Park $70 Million
just plonking here as it's presumably Aldi related. Driving past today i noticed the Kingswood Medical Clinic and adjacent gym (176-200 Belair Rd Hawthorn) is about to be demolished. Fencing all around and salvage company signs posted. I believe this is an Aldi in the making? If so it'll be a traff...

Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment
Great idea! Let's annoy and turn off all of the loyal A-United supporters who have shown up every game this season by holding finals at AO, just so a few families who haven't bothered to show up to any of their other other games can attend.
