[COM] Re: Victoria Park
Torn up bettings tickets? Horse sh*t is hardly a contaminant. Speaking of horse s**t, I saw this documentary on foxtel the other day which dealt with exactly this topic. Turns out that the fungus which grows on the masticated grass a horse excretes out the back passage has these spores which shoot ...

So much for the never changing skyline of Adelaide. Once this, Pirie St, that skinny King William st thing and all of city central is complete Adelaide will have a very, very different skyline.
Here's hoping they all get built.

As it's Charter Hall who lodged the application I thought it was worth having a look at their website: http://www.charterhall.com.au/Homepage Really good to see them investing in the SA property market, I'm assuming it's part of their office REIT, and I think it's a really positive reflection of the...

I agree 100% with Crawf, and garbage like this really pisses me off so please forgive me for saying: what a pointless, piece of shit article written by someone with the journalistic talent equivalent to a retarded child trying to poke itself in the eye with a spoon (to quote david thorne). Anyone wi...

Our City Needs People Hearty, vociferous agreement from this quarter, councillor. Your newsletter said many things I wish I heard more often from people in positions of influence. Ditto! I just wonder though is 20,000 people added to the CBD over 20 years ambitious enough? That's 1,000 people per y...

I have to say that I think this height issue is a nothing more than a reflection of demand and so it's no surprise really to see that the proposals are being restricted to around the 18 level mark. I was preparing for an economics presentation I had to give in Melbourne on Monday and I was trolling ...

Re: Adelaide Uni: COM Engineering, PRO Union Hall, UC Hughes
I'm glad to see this go, I did my degree at Adelaide Uni and Union Hall was terrible. From an economics point of view we need to keep capitalising on education exports to drive growth, particularly in view of increased competition from countries like the US and UK, who as a result of the GFC have sp...

This one seems like a strange development to me. Firstly I think there are very few buddhist people here in Adelaide. Most of the Immigrants here are either Sikh, Muslim, Hindu or Christian. Secondly the location is not good. The few buddhist people who do live here probably wouldn't be that keen o...

They've done this well, last night I drove on the express way from heaslip rd, to pt wakefield and then onto south rd up to days rd and then home. There was a reasonable amount of traffic on it too. Definitely is a time saver, now I just can't wait for the south rd superway to be finished.

yeah I think it does, they did say it would be officially open for the 13th.muzzamo wrote:I reckon i'll be keen for the community bike ride.
Does this all mean the expressway will be open for cars on Monday?
