[COM] Re: [PRO] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection
There are issues with the Liberal version regardless of whether lanes are widened, and that you don't need to be an engineer to understand, e.g. turning right on to Springbank from Goodwood Road will still not allow all of the traffic that wants to get around to get around, even with two lanes (its...

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway
has anyone seen whether they have started laying bitumen in the trench near flinders drive? I swear I could smell it as I was travelling south today but you can't see into the trench while travelling in that direction. Yes they have and by the end of April, south bound traffic should be able to dri...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
Oh no to side platforms. This slows the trams even more. The current set up at city south allows a better flow for the trams through the lights. While red the boarding takes place, than on green the tram heads off. The issues with this set up is that a tram travelling north now stops at the lights,...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
Looong overdue! Interesting it's going to be side platforms. Also I wish they would introduce real time information screens for all the tram stops. Oh no to side platforms. [COM] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade
Memorial Drive stadium to receive new roof in $10 million upgrade Cheap and tacky. I guess this means the new venue won't be happening for at least another decade. 100% agree. And think back 12mths when Chris Pyne was promoting the liberal plan for the this. Enclosed and done right. Than come along...

[COM] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection
I don’t find them scary. The fear is that if it’s a bus lane from the top to the bottom than, at the lights where it’s three lanes for all traffic would become two and a bottle neck in peek times.

[COM] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection
Noticed this morning newly painted dots on the north bound lanes south of Daws Road. From the painting of these lines, they are creating the three lanes from the big Crow shops down to the intersection. Are they lane markings? The last section from Jamestown Ave to Daws Rd is already three lanes. T...

That is so wrong. It was allocated and Lucas took it out of the budget. She needs to ask her own side what happened to the money. Where did it go? A hotel maybe?
