Re: #Official Defence Thread

Labor’s defence spending as a share of GDP dropped to 1.56 per cent in the 2012-13 Budget - the lowest level of funding since 1938. You say that labor are going to win the election, however labor were also favoured to win in 2019 and how did they end up going? The decision to change to nuclear subma...

Re: #Official Defence Thread

SAAB is expanding its Mawson Lakes HQ. They are spending $77m to increase the size of their premise on Third Avenue. To put it into perspective, their existing building is that in the top left. I would say that Lockheed Martin Australia would also expand their building in the not too distant future...

Re: SA State Election 2022

Coming into the federal and state elections it's looking more and more likely that we will see a labor government at federal level and a liberal government here in South Australia. Surely under this scenario, South Australia will get very little support from the federal government. Labor doesn't li...

Thanks for all the photos ppl.

Actually I think it's looking pretty good, it's taken a long time to get to this point. Agree that more shade is needed but I think with some patience that will be sorted.
Brother, if they have more shade then how the hell is the grass going to grow lol ?

On a side note you'd be pretty p'd off if your home suddenly turned into a hotel building. Not sure how this continues to happen in Adelaide.
What difference does it make brother ?

There are survey pegs on the 4 corners of the property now.

Hopefully something will happen soon - this would be a good development
Brother, if they were about to start construction then why level the site completely flat ?

This site has remained unchanged for months. These last few days the site has been levelled, so maybe something is about to happen. Let's see, as this will be a nice addition to the west side of the CBD
I don’t believe this is SWP.

Looks like its going to used as a car park.

Great to hear! I have no doubt this one will go up in current economic conditions! This road desperately needs a tram line
Mate, how do you define good economic conditions ?

I dare say this has topped out. All of the signage has been removed from the core slip form, I would expect it to be dismantled soon. The top floor pace may have slowed down in preparation for the mass tuned dampener that will be installed at the top of the building. It topped out about 2 months ag...

This building looks average because the hoist at the front means they can't complete the front at the moment. Once they complete the building I think it will look reasonably good.
