Re: News from the ACC
I understand most of you don’t think this is a governance issue or a civil liberty issue as this is a development blog - but as a person elected to represent people and looking at the bigger picture it fundamentally is. If the State Government wanted to take away your right to local decisions in ...

Re: ACC Stripped of Powers!
Wow... I don't know what to say... this was completely unexpected for everyone. But why is Patty C talking, instead of the planning minister? Because for some bizarre reason I think it falls under Conlon's portfolio rather than Holloway's... I think its something to do with the Land Management Corp...

[VIS] Re: 33 Pirie Street - Concept
It amazes me that people who have long rallied for the need of higher development fail to capitalise on the oppurtunity given at present (if it goes ahead). Seems a bit hypocritical to me. I feel that you are directing this thinly veiled critique at me. There is nothing hypocritical about wanting t...

A few observations from looking at their precinct plan on the web site.... Perhaps T7 will become the iconic, taller tower? Can only hope so considering it is closer to victoria square and at back of post office. Would make some sense.... Second T8 looks much of a muchness but i don't think it looks...

This evening I walked past the site of this development. The street frontage is indeed reasonably narrow but from what i can gather it goes as far back as the Pancake Kitchen on Gilbert Place... I obviously haven't seen the design but on first impressions the floor plates wouldn't be heaps big. Hard...
