[COM] Re: 11-27 Frome Street | Hotel and apartments
The trouble is these venues replacement/relocation aren't guaranteed, if we dont fight for our small venues such as the rhino room then we'll end up with a sterile city. End up with a sterile city ? Adelaide already is sterile. Far from sterile, Adelaide's has a great vibe to it. Heaps of charm and...

[COM] Re: 11-27 Frome Street | Hotel and apartments
Development in this area will be important for Rundle st moving forward to compensate for the loss of foot traffic once the RAH closes. But I'm definitely with others here who will be against it if the rhino room + the howling owl building are to make way. Lets hope the rhino room is integrated inst...

Re: News & Discussion: General CBD Development
Found this article regarding North Terrace & the state governments high hopes for the strip. Also mentions the 5 approved developments on there that are all yet to advance. The CBD side of North Terrace is a dogs breakfast - a mix of visually atrocious offices, neglected heritage and my favorite...

Good signs, this section of currie st is crying out for a significant development such as this. Hopefully with the majority of this being a hotel, there isnt as much reliance on the apartment presales before we see some action! Surely the contract between Sofitel and Palumbo must have an agreed fin...

The attached link says their site is 'under construction'. With their record we'll be waiting a whileghs wrote:I just did some research on the 88 Construction / YTO construction.
There website doesn't work, I would think they're probably not in business anymore.

I quite like stage 3, its reminiscent of a menacing shark. Ties in well with the existing festival center also.

The office component of this will surely kill off the chances of the GPO offices going through anytime soon. Will be interesting who ends up leasing these offices out (bar the standard government department leases).

Also f*ck the AHA, these struggling businesses need to lift their game and adapt to a changing scene. Stop blaming events like the RCC and small bars for your incompetent business management or poor offerings. AHA defiantly deserve an honorable middle finger, they shouldn't even have a say in the m...

Sigh... ACC again spoiling the fun for the majority as a result of complaints from a minority. No wonder RCC cant be arsed in dealing with the ACC, they make their lives miserable. Why cant people just accept the fact that RCC is miles in-front of the majority of these brick and mortar establishment...
