Re: 207 Pulteney Street | 195m | 60 Levels | Mixed Use
But if our economy is as bad as he has said... and yet we're still changing as much as we have been in these past five years, imagine what will happen once it improves? The thing is I have read various reports about the state of our economy, most saying that it's better than we think. So... grains o...

The location of the GPO is so prime it needs to be that much better.
Also, it isn't all glass and the final finish could not only look boring but bad. Based on what we have seen from render to final product, it could turn out to be a clunker. Here's hoping it disproves all of us.

Really? I would feel a project like this would really help the pub and attract a lot of patronages given the student crowd. You think it could be demolished to make way for this?

Could be a lot worse. I feel that render of this nature doesn't try to sell it as something that it won't be. Cement painted walls is much better than the raw, mismatch finish we have seen with the two current student accom going up. Far from great but solid. I just hope the city doesn't become a ha...

I will add my two cents (though it's much of what other's have said). I like this, a lot! I hope that it is HnM that moves into this space. This may be a question for the laneway thread but is Gawler Place getting a revamp? There is a lot of laneway activation I can't keep up at the moment. :D :appl...

I like this a lot. From afar the design and cladding variation makes for great effect. Can't wait to see this side of the CBD further developed.

Are we missing a proposal or does Ben know something we don't?
Even with just what we have currently proposed, our skyline is about to take a big change. I can't wait to be there to see it.

Stage 2 will cover the eastern side yah? Ben what do we know about this project? Is it to be larger than this stage? Same feel to the design?

I appreciate how hard it is to comment given your involvemt with this project but thank you for this info. I truely hope it is on par at least with Realm in its design and it really blows Westpac out of the water. A modern sleek glass like finish would look and contrast so well against the concrete ...

The side blank walls suck but I don't hate the frontage.
It blends in with re rest of North Terrace. Yes I would have liked a better design but it isn't offensive either.
