that might be it, i know i read it in the advertiser well over a year ago, and that they had big plans to build houses in the area of waterloo corner around the area of heaslip and taylor rd, but after that, it was never mentioned again, i have been trying to find it, ive looked on the major project...

A member said in a forum the other day that the hills is serviced terribly by the metro, well plans have been released to improve the service, but an idea came to my mind, should the belair line be extended to have a station in Mt Barker, and also other Adelaide Hills Suburbs Bridgewater and Stirlin...

good point, though i wonder if they have thought of extending the tonsely line, maybe extend it down, have a stop at flinders uni&hospital, perhaps it would become widely utilized then

No that was to improve housing standards in Elizabeth and Davoren Park, if i remember correctly, the one im talkin bout is located of Heaslip rd, or in the vicinity of, it was released around the same time as the edinburgh industrial estate.

well wat about trying to ease congestion on south rd, anzac hwy and brighton rd and bus delays, caused by peak hour traffic would be reduced, and it would offer a fast efficient route down south.

i suppose when you think about there are like 100 other routes (exaggeration) into the city, and itll save having to catch the beeline to get to vic sq, but really, melbourne has trams all over the place and they cope, so i am pretty sure that well cope, itll probably just take some adjusting to.

yeah some is, but have you seen some of the land in hallett cove, my aunties house is 2 meters above the road, and i have seen other houses on steep blocks.
