What the actual F*ck is that.

This original design, although still a typical Adelaide box, was way better.

I note that they are refitting the old BNKR store on the cnr of Pultney and Rundle Mall - maybe that's where the Dr M's place will be
Ex BNKR would be a good site for JD Sports, close to Nike and Adidas stores down this end of the mall

Heard from a store manager at the centre that Sephora are looking at the old Country Road site, a big corner spot on the edge of the large event space area. To open after the Rundle Mall store.

Ripe Maternity also opening a new store here soon in the Myer mall

Love it and wish it would happen. My understanding is these luxury brands will soon make an appearance in the CBD but will be in a new purpose built centre.
Cheers Ben. This purpose built centre intrigues me, any info you could divulge?

You'll get in trouble for bumping this thread with no update :P No progress from what I've seen unless any forum members have any kind of insight. C&G chief executive Trevor Cooke said the revitalisation of North Terrace, including the $60 million tram extension, was key to the project. Tram ext...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Walking along North Terrace yesterday, past the old Club 199 and heritage buildings, am so sick of seeing this area neglected and dilapidated. While I've felt Luxury retail should be at Burnside, couldn't help but think a cluster of luxury brands in this location, continuing on from Tiffany & Co...

[COM] Re: SkyCity Adelaide Casino Expansion | 55m | 12 Levels | Hotel

While good in theory the problem [even in hindsight] is that the Intercontinental, Riverside Centre & the Convention centre [Govt] are all owned and/or leased by separate parties ie not Skycity. Possibly Lot 14 could have worked but too late now. Yeh very true, makes it even more difficult to a...

Can’t be too far away from topping out. It’s a shame it’s not another 10 levels. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190829/5b41830a7900eaa9f2cd010035748917.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190829/7da2242a79ea6c63bee47e1ef6daf6c2.jpg Definitely should have been another 10+ levels. [COM] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million

An iconic design should be mandatory for this Tower once it goes ahead.

Check out this development underway in South Yarra. This style would be perfect, complimenting the Skycity development, adding that needed height and a shiny new beacon to front the postcard shot/'front face' of the CBD.

Great that Hyatt are returning, wish it could have been around 140 - 150m but agreed good to bulk up the skyline with a 100+.

So adding to the list we'll have:

Hyatt
QT
Sofitel
Adelaide Oval
Crowne Plaza
Sky City
Westin
Wyndham

The existing ones are going to feel the pinch.

Given Adelaidean and Realm are fairly set back in this airport view is it likely they may not appear in line with Westpac building when completed? Or is the ground slightly higher. Have marked up a red line where I thought they may top out around. My guess is that Adelaidean will be roughly where t...
