Im 99.9% certain this photo is not a montage but a correct photograph that has been taken from the new development on the corner of George St/Greenhill Road. The line of sight of all buildings shown in that photo, when lined up from said development on Greenhill Road, are true and correct. The Wesf...

Makes you wonder why taller buildings can get up in strange pockets of the city (like CBD east) meanwhile there seems to be this stunted growth with those buildings along Waymouth/Pirie and Currie/Grenfell. This building looks great but would have looked better with a podium spanning the whole site...

[COM] Re: 269 North Terrace | 118m | 36 Levels | Student accommodation
For reference, this being finished late next year would mean it progresses at a similar rate to the Adelaidean right next door. Brother, comparing an apartment building time frame to a student building time frame is ludicrous. Student buildings go up like lightning. With the student accommodation o...

I would think very late 2021 Sent from my SM-J730G using Tapatalk That's utter garbage. Assuming that they build one level a week, then this should nearly top out at the end of this year. Accordingly I would think they would be hoping to finish early next year. Asks for an estimated completion date...

Re: Moving the airport to a less populated area
My guess is that the Covid 19 crisis has put back Adelaide Airport's plans at least 5 years.... I don't expect passenger number to return to 2019 levels until 2024 or 2025. There wont be any international travel until a vaccine is created and distributed , and then only vaccinated tourists will be ...

Building designs and finishes of a high quality and standard shouldn't be exclusive to location. The location (property value) is fundamental to the choice in design quality and materials.... Thats why there's third world countries and cities with better looking towers then most of what goes up her...

I've said it before, that we get nothing but cheap as shit developments here, and people piss their pants when I'm critical. This is a perfect example of a cheap as shit result. Why are so many piss poor sub standard developments approved in this city? There's a few exceptions of course. Planning l...

The glazing is horrible, driving along North Terrace during the daytime, you can see all of the hotel curtains... There is zero reflection on the windows. I can understand if you cheap'd out on glazing if the building was similar to those around Victoria Square, but the glazing is what was meant to...

Makes sense that these ones haven’t sold or aren’t owner/occupied. The wood on wood is pretty average, the other options were much nicer

Because the tenants pay good money for it.rev wrote:Why does the building need naming rights, or a big logo at the top?
I think it would be a lot more visually appealing if lights were left on inside the building at night.

This has been awarded the best Commercial Redevelopment (Australia) at the 2020/21 International Property Awards.
So much for most people on here saying it would be garbage!
