Re: Sensational-?
for me i vote for keeping it as is..Sensational-Adelaide However, we can play on words or in this case characters and highlight the S in S ensational and the A in A delaide. To many it wont be noticed but subliminally (if im using the right term) the SA will stand out. Therefore killing two birds wi...

I will look at those development threads for the blafours site....My wife and i are looking at investing in Adelaide seeing it is projected to be growing in value by up to 25% for the next 3-4 years at least.

Re: #Article: City Developments reach One Billion Dollars
Thats great news for the city and the state but you have got to ask yourselves.. How much of those 1billion dollar development applications actually get approved, further of those approved how many actually get developed?? I would have been more excited if the article were to say $1billion dollars o...

[COM] Re: $1.7bn plan to build a new RAH
Basically summed up my thoughts already... you'd need to get a massive tower to accommodate even half the floorspace of the current RAH. I'd doubt 40 storeys would be even enough. They would never build a 40 storey hospital, it is not practical or efficient, in the case of an internal emergency (fi...

Re: Glenelg Entertainment Complex (New Magic Mountain)
Why is there so much complaint? I saw it the other day and its very unattractive but why is there comments like "typical crap Adelaide" and the like? Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't it privately funded? How does the state have anything to do with how under-impressed you are by this at...

Re: Glenelg Entertainment Complex (New Magic Mountain)
I am not saying the kids will not love it, I'm sure they will. My arguement is, why build it solely for the kids? A 50m, ferris wheel would still appeal to the kids but additionally to the adults. I agree here. As an Adult i dont want to spend my $8 to go on this ride... The simple point i think so...

Re: #Article: $25bn resources boom spree
The problem with uranium is that it remains dangerous for thousands of years. When people calculate the cost of creating energy from uranium they never factor in the cost of storing it safely for thousands of years. Recent studies have also shown that the levels of exposure to radiation generally c...

Re: Cars!!!
Thats a real shame guys....One thing i detest is theft of property When i bought my XU6, i upgraded the factory alarm, added a 3 stage immobiliser, added deadlocking to the doors and front wheel locking (so the car can not be dragged without seriously damaging it). However the best thing i added was...

[COM] Re: #Proposed: Rundle Mall upgrade
taxi's down the mall.....thats stupid!
I agree with a revamp of rundle mall, it severely needs it, add some extended shopping hours and utilising those laneways to create small bars, cafes and restaurants, coupled to some more inner city apartments should make for a bustling street..
