Swimming pools, tennis courts, parks, basketball courts, football ovals, cricket pitches, bmx tracks, etc - allow more and more of these facilites to accomodate suburban areas, so that den...

If we are talking land areas of cities, what frustrates me is the the failure of there not being a common standard of what defines as the purely urban area of a city. One method that I would propose is to calculate the continous build-up of urban sprawl, without 'gaps' for areas to be classified urb...

What about a 'connector' bus to service the new interchange and the Marion bus interchange? Saves the efforts of re-directing buses everywhere. just walk from oakland park train station, how lazy are some people? I for one, am perfectly happy with walking the distance. But I was taking more notice ...

I heard Perth is planning to build another de-sal plant. The Goverment needs to pull its act together quickly if it wants to help solve our water crisis (how ironic, given our dams are more than 50% capacity... you'd think that'd suffice) Just brainstorming here, why should the salts go back into th...

Trams running northbound won't be able to, but the trams running westbound would - since the stop is before the turn onto Grote Street. I wonder where the stop destinations would be along the route? Surely there would be one adjacent to Chinatown and the Bus Station Terminal, given that Central Mark...

Hear hear.
The reason people complain of lack of services to new areas are because they are established away from existing areas. If we filled in the gaps, services need only be upgraded, and then incorporated into the standards of city services after a few years.
