Re: The Great Roads Debate
Ok, here's what I think. Hopefully this time I don't get called 'ignorant' or 'everything that's wrong with Adelaide' - I think the city ring route has a lot of room for improvement - grand junction rd, cross road and portrush rd etc. Not for commuters, but for faster freight movements. - ...

The Jade's a great little spot imo, but it's definately not a conductive music venue for anything with guitar ampifiers.. The room is too small, the sound bounces all over the place creating standing waves - in english, it sounds like crap.. even though I've had a lot of great nights there, I would ...

Re: Electrification and Resleepering of suburban rail networ
Good to the the government warming to the city loop. i agree, that alignment looks awkward, but maybe it keeps open the option to connect this to the obahn track, which just may see heavy rail traffic someday. I think a hindmarsh square stop would be good too instead of a rundle stop. call me crazy,...

I agree, the exterior renders are pretty good and frankly, I think this apartment block should go ahead based on: A) The apartments are intended to be occupied by foreign exchange students (mostly chinese) B) Dog box apartments like this are commonplace in China. It's just what they are used to.. an...

Re: Common sense on the roads of Adelaide
this is the problem... the government has instilled so much fear in people with their propaganda about "creeping" and "speeding", their blatant revenue raising, over policing of speed limits (with cameras particularly), that people are too scared to even drive AT the speed limit...
