Re: Mawson Lakes - Not just another suburb

At $100 billion, sorry, $100 million dollars, lets hope they get a decent architect this time, rather than the circa 1990's design of the existing mawson lakes hotel. Re: News: Adelaide City Council

Oh how inconvenient for you all! My heart bleeds, you can't visit the gardens, can't walk back to your bmw or landcruiser, without being reminded, that oh yeah, there are indigenous people. How uncouth they are sitting around in groups, they should be in their swanky inner city, ikea clad apartment...

In other news the buses I take are often disgustingly filled with graffiti and have no air conditioning, plus some of the bus drivers are as warm and welcoming as a...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread

So glad that this has finally eventuated! I honestly thought it would never happen, especially given that we've had very little encouraging news on the matter since the last election. bit of a shame that it's going to be delayed by an extra year (we aren't getting any younger) but it's exciting to ...

Comment from the adelaide now website, funny but true: 'We need a minister for artists impressions' Interesting point from the article: "There is some sense of complacency around the fact that Adelaide feels it got there first with a lot of the Dunstan initiatives (and) I suspect there has been...
