[COM] Re: APP: Rundle Pl (Harris Scarfe & Bendigo Adel Bank) 102m
Here's my conspiracy theory. For the bank itself to 'expect' the building will be lower because 'we' only need 18K could give away they've demanded sole occupancy of the office component. Tbh if that's the case I'd have preferred they built their 10-12 levels on their current Hindmarsh Sq sit...

Cool. So they'll get signage rights to the top of the building right?

Nice. Should be easier to sell than most too. I know there's plenty of fanatical market lovers out there who'd love to live this close.

^ I like these, it's a perfect level of density for that location. I'm guessing (hoping) the corner project will see a few coats of paint before completion.
Are they solar panels or just tin sheet on the awnings?

Wondering why would they chop two floors off? Could it already have a tenant in the pipeline with a clear requirement that gives them the pre-commitment % needed for finance? Any estimate at the amount of space it would have?

Re: Adelaide Uni: COM Engineering, PRO Union Hall, UC Hughes
I can't fault Bendigo's respect for it's heritage but IMHO the same new/old mix already exists throughout Adelaide's CBD on a larger and grander scale. Interstate visitors with an eye for architecture have commented to me on how well we're doing it many times. I'm a fan of significant heritage build...

I wonder whether AO's lighting would be up to FIFA WC future HD/3D broadcast standards? They're very strict these days I believe.
Personally I think that the AO lights are already pretty ordinary regarding shadowing etc but maybe it's just my eyes.

Great news! The DAC sees reason compared with the Adelaide City Council once again. Plus the attempts by Ambitio Pty Ltd relating to the car parking were completely unjustified. One rule for one and one for the other, I don't think so! Even though the design isn't anything special it will improve t...

Re: New Tallest? This is not a joke!
Tbh, I'd just be happy to have confidence that Aurora's Tower 2 was going to be built anytime soon.
I find it difficult to accept those renders as being anything more than 'pie-in-the-sky' but yeah, they're cool.

Sounds brilliant. Won't hold my breath but please God, let it get up. From just looking at their website and their work I get the vibe that they're probably not the types who'd throw away considerable cash proposing 'fluff' projects at the moment. On the subject of Wall Street, it's a narrow little ...

Looks perfectly suitable for the location to me and it's resi component is exactly what Franklin needs. In fact I'd be happy for Franklin to be glass walled with these things from KW to Morphett. Currently Waymouth = CBD, Franklin = Wastelands. Less than a year ago I actually dodged then overtook a ...

Cried wolf too many times and nobodies listening anymore. They claim the Light Square development is 'out of character' but it's site is bordered by a shocking 70s box on Waymouth and multiple 80s/90s buildings on the Sq. If anything, the old building that's there currently is 'out of character' wit...

There's an even worse example than CC1 of blinds being used as a modern art side-project.......and it's actually right next door to this one. KPMG!
