Introducing a policy that forces parents to have 3 children will never work because of the economic and social problems that it would create. I can't see how it would benefit any individuals, and if any government announced plans like that they would be commiting political suicide. The cost of raisi...

I actually don't really enjoy travelling on 747s when compared to the newer planes in the fleets such as the 777. The 747s may have a large capacity, but compared with the 777s, the seats provided are typically significantly narrower (economy class), and the ride is a fair bit more bumpier and rough...

Has anyone really realised amongst this debate over the N/S freeway, that there is simply no land to build upon apart from existing roads to construct this. And this is why we tunnel. :) In any situation some properties will have to be demolished. Take a look at Sydney freeway tunnelling projects. ...

Yeh, but the Gawler train line is far busier than the Outer Harbor/Grange lines. Only the Noarlunga and Gawler lines get lots of passengers. The Outer Harbor line does get reasonable patronage during peak hour, but beyond that it is a pathetic service. I always thought it would be a good idea to sep...

The vast majority of flights in and out of Adelaide are just Qantas 737s. A lot of the international flights tend to be operated by 777s, with the rare 747 now and then.

I was sad enough to count an estimate of the number of floors. It seems to be somewhere between 30-35 levels high. It looks like it would be an office building, but it could well be an office/residential building.

It is easy to blame HY, but they have not been responsible for the delays in several of their projects. The problems or other problems may have occurred whether or not other subcontractors undertook works associated with the airport. HY only construct the buildings, not the infrastructure associated...

Yeh, the Pulteney Street upgrade obviously wasn't planned very well as a lot of the construction carried on at the busiest times rather than the quietest. It also took longer than it should have. It's good to see that a pedestrian crossing has been considered under the plans in front of Moonta Stree...

Polls are also bad particularly if there's the capability of voting more than once. Someone could seriously skew the result by voting dozens of times.
