For fucks sake, there’s a 12 storey building next to it. This sort of density is perfect for Glenelg, what on earth is the chief government architect on about.

Is it that Samaras? I thought he usually built under the “Kyren” name?Patrick_27 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 2:44 pmQuite liked it until I realised it was a Samaras development. Will likely be dumbed down a handful of times before and during construction.

This site, or group of sites fronting Currie, Gilbert and Peel Streets has just come on the market. Haven't seen a site this large in the centre of Adelaide since 60 King William Street (the former Southern Cross Arcade) changed hands. https://www.realcommercial.com.au/for-sale/property-20-22-curri...

What I want to know is why Mali and his government are handing more $$ to AFC, how the hell is this a 'community' investment? Improvements to Thebarton Oval and Kings Reserve that ultimately benefit the AFC. IF this were an Arts organisation/institution asking for a little financial kicker to get a...

Despite the official bidding process not even beginning yet, it's looking more and more likely that the 2034 WC host has already been chosen in favour of FIFA's favourite oil rich buddy, Saudi Arabia: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/oct/09/fifa-stadium-rule-relaxed-saudi-arabia-world-cup-...

The charming Netter Building, on the corner of Hindley & Gresham, is finally undergoing some sort restoration. It’s part of project being dubbed ‘Gresham Gateway’. Vague details on the website: https://www.netter.com.au/ Hopefully this leads to an uplift in this part of Hindley, and encourages ...

This is now headlined as a $100 million project, with the state government today committing $15 million to the Crows HQ as well as $10 million to the broader precinct. This is on top of the $15 million federal commitment (carried over from the parklands plan). See: https://www.afc.com.au/news/14484...

Thanks for posting. Looks good - it’s been nice to see East and South Tce get some more density over the past decade.

Of course it’s dead. How often are projects for this site announced only to never eventuate? What a joke. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Indeed. It’s a shame because that part of King William St really took off for a while there development wise, and has slowed somewhat the past five years or so.
