[U/C] Re: Central Market Arcade Redevelopment | 130m | 39 levels
I'd say it's all part of the asbestos removal. I'd also expect some temporary tent/cover structures to be set up too.

I'd suggest it is a contractor handover. I wouldn't be too worried.

Great photos Prodical!
I'd say you're correct. The first shot looks like a core pad, the second could be the beginning of a stairwell/service core. Time will tell!

The jump form for the core was being removed yesterday, it's all topped out. The facade on this is looking fantastic, especially when viewed from Vic Square. I feel the finished bulk will almost resemble a picture frame, with the more pronounced gold framing nicely complimenting the GPO Clock Tower....

[COM] Re: 52-66 King William Street | 65m | 15 Levels | Southern Cross Arcade
I note that they've restored the slate footpath in front of this without tree pits. I'm pretty sure the 'make good' condition of the development approval included both the footpath as well as replacing the two mature trees they cut down. From memory there was one Plane tree, closer to the southern ...

[SWP] Re: Lot 14 (Old RAH Site)
Don't forget that there is a proposal for a Museum of Adelaide as part of the Keystone (Stonemason) Tower on North Terrace, which would add to the overall precinct. I for one really hope this development goes ahead as intended. It's an extraordinary opportunity, incredible design and allows some inc...

[COM] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade
Just think of this development as a much larger scale of the ARC at Campbeltown, or Lights at Lightsview. Along with the Basketball SA expansion at Wayville this will add much needed courts to the extremely quickly growing Domestic, District, School and State basketball leagues. The 36ers have no fo...

A full floor of glazing when viewed from Victoria square has been completed. Even though it was overcast when I drove past it's quite striking in its appearance and looks really high quality!

For what it's worth I like the contrast between the facade and the new sandstone. It's similar, but allows the heritage facade to sand out.
It's a brilliant result and has given that end of KWS a welcome uplift.

[U/C] Re: Central Market Arcade Redevelopment | 130m | 39 levels
It was shared in an interview this morning on radio that the internal soft demolitions of the old plaza had been progressing for some time in preparation for this stage. The GM of the Central Markets showed no indication of this development not progressing as planned or in stages. This will be a ver...
