Exciting to see!

Although :2cents: I always thought that Le Cordon Bleu should seek to base themselves in the market precinct as another feather in its cap as a food & produce capital.

They should have taken the opportunity to clean it out went it drained accidentally a couple years back. It's too much of undertaking otherwise.

I think a lot of people forget beyond the public face of some blowhard councillors is actually a pretty competent council administration. Looking forward to seeing what happens in this space: it could be game changing for Adelaide.

The State Gov doesn't approve buildings like this. They appoint an independent commission to decide in accordance with the development plan the city council has determined. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't have been approved. Other people, myself included, do like it. But I d...

As exciting as this development is I think we will find that the land for Tower 2 (taller tower) will be sold off with DA before it gets developed - if ever. Why would you suspect that? The developer Guava Lime has shown incredible commitment to creating a precinct on Flinders, smoothly moving from...

Are the footpaths not fully paved? I didn't realise we were getting an upgrade that leaves most of it as asphalt.

[COM] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection

So what purpose does the extension of Springbank to goodwood along the current roax serve? Why wouldn't they get rid of it? Or if it is for left turns making in narrower? I wondered that too. May guess is what you suggested and maybe to maintain access to some properties on the corner there. I do h...

I have to admit I wasn't too hopeful with this one but the quality of the glazing and finishings is making a big difference. In any case, I'm pleased to see this go up as the increase in residents bordering the parklands should eventually lead to their proper maintenance and landscaping.

I don't think we should look a gift horse in the mouth. International students are a huge boon to our economy, and provided a happy experience, are potential ambassadors for our city around the world. Anyone prepared to cross the oceans and spend their money with us should be welcomed. Though we're ...

Thanks for the new perspective!

Unihouss is a such a grotty building. That entire intersection is underdone. Obviously we'll be stuck with the car parks for a long time to come, but I would've thought there'd be strong cases for redevelopment of both Citi Arcade and Grottyhouse.
