We can only dream, but if there was a goverment serious enough about establishing some freeway network of sorts, I guess this is about as much as Adelaide could get away with, mainly due to NIMBYS, costs, and existing infrastructure. (Remember freeways need room to build upon) The northern section o...

I know daylight savings occurs, but I've never been familiar of its purpose. I think what SA needs to focus on more is altering its time zone to fall back half-hour, so that we are an hour behind the Eastern States at all times. The half hour difference is annoying - too much math to do when changin...

Well, seems everyone has forgotten that Victor Harbor/Goolwa faces the southern ocean. Build a desalation plant therewhere the dodge currents flush regulary or whatever terminology was used in that context. The pipings close enough to Adelaide, so shouldnt be too much trouble.

Sounds great news. Why do we have blackouts then if our demand capacity falls short of our supply? Doesnt make sense seeing as that we would have about 300MW of reserves.

Murray Bridge isn't designated to become anything bigger than it already is. Its services and size accomodate adequatly for the area surrounding it. Focus on the growth of Mount Barker, Elizabeth, Noarlunga, Victor Harbor, Port Lincoln, Mount Gambier and Port Augusta/Roxby Downs. These are the regio...

Mabye these satellite CBD's is where Adelaide can get its 300m tower. I'd love to see Hi-rises around Elizabeth, Noarlunga, Mount Barker and the Port. The tram services radiating from outer centres sounds like a great idea, and then to link it with high speed transport between the major centres. Wit...

I wish I could agree, but because of the extent of Adelaide's urban sprawl it has now become dispersed. So I think we should fill in the gaps between suburbs, and then concentrate on density.

Rubbish talk by the Advertiser. As far as I'm concerned, ADL T1 will continue to serve Adelaide for the next 50 years. As for runway expansion, there is still room for the SE/NW to expand into the NW corner across Tapleys Road. Underpassing would be required though.

Its approved! Hip-hip hooray.
Something struck me though, it says the core will rise above the roofline. Core height is 67m, roofline is 63m. I hope this little 'protrusion' doesnt turn out ugly. But as for the rest of the building it looks sweet, although yet another glass box.

Considering the input from school-aged forumers here, I'm surprised about the feedback that has been given over the legal school leaving age. Whilst it does vary dependant on the person's maturity levels and authority to control their lives, there should at least be a standarisation to appease those...
