Re: Adelaide has to build a NEW stadium for 2018/2022 World Cup

Ok so I am all for this going ahead but it just blows my mind reading on Adelaide now how many people have a crazy view, and think that thats what the majority of the state feels! I just did a litle research to find the numbers of participants in sporting activities in Australia as of 2007 out of t...

Re: Adelaide has to build a NEW stadium for 2018/2022 World Cup

2. Adelaide United should need a larger stadium within 5 - 10 years and this is the perfect excuse for one. I felt embarrassed that we could only get 17,000 to the Asian Champions League Final. So where are these 17,000 band wagoners every other game of the A-league season? Now that's something to ...

Re: #VIS: Riverside (Entertainment Precinct)

I did 3 year 11 subjects in year 10 so no, i didn't notice a big leap. Although i did leave school at the end of year 11 so i'm not really sure what year 12 is like. I went out into the real world instead.

Re: Desalination plant for Adelaide

So if water is so special, why does the price of it change depending on what your house is valued for?

Is it harder to pump water to more expensive houses?

Re: Desalination plant for Adelaide

I think I remember hearing somewhere, and I'm not sure if my brain is just making this up, but I thought someone a while back on the tv or radio or something said that doubling the size of the desal plant should mean that we should not need to rely on the Murray at all? Anyone have any idea if this...

Re: 14-12

Watch an SANFL game from the 70's, then watch a VFL game from the 70's. Then tell me the VFL was oh so much better.

Re: 14-12

Rev, melbourne based teams can claim VFL premierships in their achievments because it's the same competition. It now has a new name along with new teams being added. The SANFL is a totally seperate competition. The Port magpies in the SANFL are a seperate entity to the power in the AFL. Otherwise p...

Re: 14-12

For any power supporters who claim they have been around since 1870 and won 35 premierships are full of shit. The Port magpies have been in the SANFL since 1870 and won 35 premierships. The Power joined the AFL in 1997 and have won 1 premiership. Power people need to realize that the SANFL and VFL/...

Re: 14-12

Fair's fair, now let's look into the premiership count: Crows Played - 2, Won - 2. Power Played - 2, Won - 1. (Including the biggest margin loss by a team in a AFL grand final, 119 points) Now I know it's only my opinion, and people can see it as just that, but I'd honestly prefer having the better...
