[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Hotel

This will put a private hotel operators offside, a spokesperson from the Majestic group raised concerns re: the government loan. Cited that their 6 hotels (counting the one soon to be U/C 5m away at the old channel 9 site) had no government support - and now they face the prospect of having to compe...

This will end up looking fine. However, in this location, it's a real missed opportunity for something special.

Honestly there's been about 100 rumours regarding the Tennant for this, I am tired of it. To my knowledge the building doesn't even have approval.
Sounds like an online forum which is largely driven on speculation and the unknown isnt the place for you, champ.

The advertiser facebook page posted this article earlier with the render posted above. Someone responded saying theyve got the wrong render (referring to the gray st proposal), and the advertiser came back with this (see attached photo).

Any word on what is happening with the heritage building and when work will begin on that? Flicking through the DAC report, stage 3 of this development will be 'Internal conservation and adaptive reuse works of existing State Heritage building'. The renders show the external facade receiving some T...

This site is up for sale w/ the approval for the mixed used building on realcommercial. For those not in the know, this doesn't necessarily mean its dead, however what it does mean is the current owners were just looking to boost land value by obtaining an approval (which is quite a common exercise)...

This will give dwell a run for its money in the looks department, dwell may just pip it on account of it being in a highly visible location. Very uninspiring, and like others have said once complete you would think it had been there for 20 years already.

[PRO] Re: 10 Anzac Highway | Kaufland Supermarket

Drove past the former LeCornu site yesterday and noticed For Sale signs have reappeared on the Anzac Highway side. Does this mean its back to drawing board for this one? Kaufland is up for approval at the upcoming SCAP meeting, so I doubt they've ditched the site. My assumption is that the for sale...

Wont see this one progress anytime soon. Kyrens website was updated and now lists this project as "currently on hold".

Shame, it would be good to see that unsightly carpark covered up.

Looks like this is in fact finally ready to start progressing, with an application for a crane lodged w/ SCAP.

I concur with Shano, this building & the law courts appear to be a nice little pairing.

Kodo is making good ground now too. Cant wait to see it break the 100m mark.

The shading of the circles is so inconsistent. Unless there is something I don't know (a paint job or the like) SCAP need to grow a pair and demand the finished outcome depicts what was proposed. Better yet, they could demand this take place at the application stage.. but their track record on appro...

You've had your time ACC and you held the state back. Should have taken a leaf out of the City of Melbournes book.
