What a lovely reminder of this building. Such a pity it's not twice as high, and that I so rarely get to see its best side.

Nerd alert: the Wave nomenclature is trying to replicate the Wynn Las Vegas typeface.

[U/C] Re: #PRO: Brougham Place

A great location with likely fabulous views to the CBD. It's deserving of something particularly high-quality, so I look forward to seeing more detailed plans.

How marvellous, too, that these new development/height regulations (or relaxation of, should I say) are having immediate, positive effect.

Re: Beer Garden

The cost of training thousands of workers is far from cheap - there's less project risk involved by bringing in already trained workers with experience to do the work than to train new people who may not necessarily stay with the company and leave. How many of you would leave Adelaide to work in Pr...

full restoration of the original ‘Devaar’ mansion as the main entry to the hotel and a café on Hutt Street. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee116/beamer85/South.jpg I've highlighted my favourite part. Not thrilled about the extension - it's a bit too reminiscent of the ghastly Windsor Hotel rede...

Well, it's certainly distinctive. Love the lower section that's closest to KWS with the clear glass/ochre glass contrast, and to that end I'm surprised how much I like that ochre colour, and I love the obvious diagonal frame, but overall I'm a bit overwhelmed. Less width, please, and less of that od...

To what extent will the ground level be clad/glazed/left open? That fabulous open space underneath with those large diagonal beams is delicious.
