[CAN] Re: 207 Pulteney Street | 180m | 55 Levels | Mixed Use

Just a quick question. Now that this development has had all it’s approvals sorted for height etc does that mean that theoretically if another building the same height was proposed next to it for arguments sake, would the approvals process be much simpler as the precedent has already been set so to ...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

Kouts was on ABC 891 this morning talking about the NS corridor. Key points were that the reference design is due to be released by the end of the year, there will still be tunnels, and the main amendments to the design are around the tunnel exits - with the priorities being James Congdon Drive, Ri...

So what happens at clovelly park where the fenced off houses and businesses that are earmarked for demo if the tunnel entrance doesn’t go ahead there? That spot was for the staging area for the tunnel boring machines. Would a trench require that land as well?

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

This project will be re announced before the federal budget in October with new guidelines and maybe more exits My gut feeling is that the previous longer north and south tunnels will go and a T2T style trench used instead. The argument will be that property acquisition will be cheaper than tunneli...

finally something happening. https://www.nationaltribune.com.au/majors-on-off-ramp-step-closer/ Given there's no residential and basically no commercial anywhere near enough to the construction site to complain about disruptions, I'm expecting this to happen fairly quickly. that's it, there's nothi...

Strongly agree that the constant political posturing of both sides has created the poorly utilised mess that is Adelaide transport both road and rail. And both sides have been at it for around 50 years. But why are we even discussing busses from Happy Valley clogging up the motorway and Anzac highw...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

There's a lot of activity on side streets which to me looks like core sampling. the ones I've driven past that were actively running most days seem to have packed up with no one there. unless they've moved to a new site and haven't finished clearing the previous site. They were drilling at the end ...

That flyover proposed at Black Forest coming from South Road to Anzac Highway should be abandoned. We should not be encouraging cars to travel to and from the City. Express buses if they are to use the tunnel, the left lane should be a HV Lane primarily for buses and trucks. Maybe on the South Road...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

anyone have an opinion on what major changes (if any) will be revealed in a few weeks in regards to the reference design? I'm assuming some tweaking will be required for the entry/exit points otherwise there will be major grid locking. there also still seems to be a lot of uncertainty surrounding pr...

The @t2dproject instagram account has been silent since April 7th. Before this the account had been posting updates and info graphics every few days since October when the tunnel plan was announced. Such a drastic shift in the public relations strategy of the project suggests to me that significant...
