Re: Bowden Village TOD (Clipsal site)

I was there today---photographing.(http://poodlewalks.wordpress.com/2012/09/19/wandering-in-bowden).It was a return to an old haunt. Gibson St looks so derelict. Earth works have definitely started closer to Park Terrace. It looks as if some of the double fronted stone cottages in Gibson St will be ...

[COM] Re: SWP: 377 - 379 King William St | 50m | 16 lvls | Apartme

That side of King William St needs some high rise. Is it all apartments or will it be mixed use? Great picture by the way.

Re: CBD Development: Low/Mid-Rise

Thanks Nathan. It's appreciated. I just live down the road from it, so I wanted to know what was being proposed.

[CAN] Re: VIS: BHP Tower - $250 million

Wayno, I did read the first post of this thread. All it says is that BHP is planning an office tower in Adelaide linked with its expansion of the Olympic Dam mine and that BHP Billiton is looking at teaming with a major developer to build that new office tower. I was asking whether anyone knew wheth...

Re: CBD Development: Low/Mid-Rise

Nathan, pics of the 42-58 Sturt Street prropsal. The big Mayfield site has plenty of pictures. Do you know the time frame of 42-58 Sturt Street re approval and starting the development.

Has anybody seen any proposals for a BHP tower in Adelaide? Or is this thread just dreaming and speculation about the tallest building in the CBD?

baytram366 says All for replacing that boring carpark structure and the blank block of land that really should be used by now. The courthouse (I think) and other buildings that were there were demolished at least 20 years ago. Agree. However, it looks to be more architect dreaming to me than a real ...

[CAN] Re: APP: 43-69 Sturt Street | 50m | 5 - 14lvls |Mixed Use $1

I see that Sturt Land has received government approval for its $200m mixed-use development located on the former Mayfield Electrics factory site in Sturt St. This will revitalize this south King William St area. (1) Their blurb says "An extension of the tram line along Sturt Street is also prop...

[APP] Re: APP: 399 King William Street | 46m | 15 LVS | Student Ap

There is a need to revive King William St south but a glass and concrete 15 storey tower of student boxes doesn't really do much to revive this part of King William St. The ACC got it right. The DAC didn't require enough changes. Will the recent drop in foreign student numbers kill this development ...
