Re: News & Discussion: Trams
Currently no trams running between Beckman Street Glandore and Glenelg due to a "technical issue.(hopefully not another pantograph incident). Several trams with passengers stranded, awaiting replacement buses which are hard to come by with lots of extras out on Footy Express services. Bad time...

Re: News & Discussion: Cycling Infrastructure
If there was a top 10 list of adversaries for cycling in Adelaide, Cr Antic and Anne Moran would surely be fighting it out for #1 and #2 on the list. The Adevertiser would be in my personal top 5

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
I'm still hoping they aren't crazy enough to dig up the KWS/North Terrace intersection again just to add a pointless right turn. They have to. It was a key election promise much trumpeted and megaphoned by the Advertiser for weeks. (They probable won't). Yes. The Advertiser basically egged them on ...

Well, I guess after April we can expect this thread to go dead for four or so years (at the very least), it's been nice talking to you all about trams... Its so sad that the Libs don't believe in Public Transport :( i guess we can go back to watching the PT network stagnate :( Will they even ...

Re: News & Discussion: Transport Projects
I don't know if this really belongs here. But does anyone have any information about why the Main North Road/Tiver Road intersection is so overbuilt, Or what's going to be built to the west? https://i.imgur.com/OsZ42LC.jpg I'm guessing Chairman Rau has said yes to more urban sprawl and a local shop...

So no actual commitment to build more tramlines? Just further ‘studies’ sounds like bs to me. They could commission endless studies and never actually get around to expanding the network.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
All going to what I predicted. If the Liberals get in the right-turn issue will be "investigated" with the conclusion that the whole thing is a mess and needs to be rethought, with tram extensions put on hold indefinitely. Their plan doesn't make any sense anyway. What are they going to d...

I sort of feel like this is a waste of money and time. I use the seafood line everyday and I would hate to have to go back to buses just to improve the car traffic on the roads. With the enirvoment issues we are facing these days, we shouldn’t be spending so much money on making car travel better b...
