I know we're very capital-city intensive in this state, but in Europe, Glenelg and the Port would be different cities with a farm between them. I would like to see this forum broken up so that the Bay and the Port are treated as equal to the City. All of suburbia is readily lumped into one forum, but I think it would concentrate thinking more if these two areas, with distinct Port and Resort feel, should be treated differently.
In concept planning, the Port has great potential for, to suggest, a fish market, (depending on the return of local fish!) the museum, more tourist boating, river cruises, the yacht club and other great things.
I think the casino should be moved to the Bay. As a destination for sun-loving party-goers, Glenelg can't be beat. With beach-front licencing, esplanade beautification and more development of a casino and hotel/restaurants in the area, it could acquire a Naples-like party reputation without the piles of rubbish and crappy beach.
So, the City, the Port and the Bay ought to all have their own forums.

i dont think the port or glenelg have enough ongoing development in order for both to have their own section, they barely take up the metropolitan section now
