Maybe next they'll invent a coffee-maker for your kitchen, so you don't even have to leave your house to get your hit.

Which pubs/bars/taverns have the London 2012 Olympics showing?
There should be a banner outside saying 'Watch the Olympic games here!'
Not even once does my mother give me a SINGLE penny, a dime, a shilling or otherwise, a dollar to take the trash out!

how do you watch the olympics in 3d? i pressed the 3d button on my remote last night and the 3d effect was piss poor. Is there a special program to watch or a special channel or something?

I don't know.

Forget the Olympics, for today anyway.

Today, NASA pulled off one of the most incredible technical feats in history - possibly the most difficult ever attempted. Using literally a 'skyhook' held up by jet motors, they lowered a nuclear-powered, car-sized rover to the surface of Mars. :applause:

I'm really enjoying the Olympics. Can't take my eyes of the Table Tennis...

Heh, nice one.

Apparently the Intercontinental wanted to put up a neon sign, assumed they would get approval for it and bought the sign before applying. They didn't, with little surprise.

FFS! I wouldn't be surprised. The ACC are fine with shatloads of ugly neon Polites signs all over the fraking city, but how dare the intercontinental ruin the character of the city by putting up just one sign.

Yep, serious. Apparently before the application they were quite confident that the council will just be a formality, which is a sign they're not really familiar with this council.

Yet another Cold Rock Ice Creamery has closed for good, this time at Tea Tree Plaza.
Is it leaving South Australia, or going into liquidation entirely?
