OMG, I just ordered my iPod touch from the online Apple store, is anyone else getting one.

yeah, but its only 16gb, there are some bad things but ill end up getting it anyway lol its got an internet browser and you can buy stuff from itunes from the ipod

yes you can order in the australian online store, but they won't ship til september 28 and then 2 - 5 business days for delivery

I heard about the new range of iPods a couple of days ago and had a good look at them today. I'm sorry Aussie2000 but that iPod Touch looks like the biggest gimmick and I am really disappointed with Apple releasing what seems to be an underdone piece of old technology. For a start it is only 8 or 16gb (pretty pathetic compared to the iPod Classic 80 or 160gb). And the fact that all it is is the iPhone without the phone - wouldn't you wait til the phone comes out???
I'll be going out tomorrow and picking me up an iPod Classic with a 160gb hard drive.

yup i agree not only does it look like a gimmick you will most likely have to wait for 4 weeks before you get it!

i agree im not completely happy, but as i said i know i will get it later anyway lol and yes i will have to wait 4 weeks aswell

I have my stereo hooked up to an Airport Express

But damn, won't be long before someone opens up that iPod Touch and you can put custom apps on it. I wonder how long it will be before Doom is ported to it?
