Well I am certain on one thing, definately NOT Howard! I couldn't do that on a matter of principle. Not sure who I will vote for yet. They are all the same anyway. :wank:

Looks like Howard will get a big K0-7 out of his office. He gets my vote!

Since we may start a riot here let's get some opinions. Will, explain to us why you consider him a rodent?

Cheers

If I explained to you why i consider him and his government rodents, it would take a considerable amount of time. But here is a condensed version of the reasons why I do not like our federal government:

*Workchoices; it is an attack on the living standards of working Austrlians. An ideological attack designed to increase profits for big business fat cats at the expense of the working people.

*It has reduced funding to universities

*They have increased HECS outrageously

*They have reduced their funding to public health

*They scrapped the commonwealth Dental scheme; punishing battlers to a life of pain and misery simply because they are poor

*They invaded a country under false pretences

*They have introduced full-fee degrees at university which make a mockery of the supposedly Australian value of 'equality of opportunity'

*They are climate change skeptics

*Australia has become the poodle of Bush and Israel.

I could go on for ages....

After discovering Howard will retire in his term, and allow Costello take over the top job. Its very unlikely I will be voting Howard.

I'd like to know how you think it's possible you will be voting for John Howard, seeing as you don't live in Bennelong :)

And who will Rudd be poodle of? And why bring Israel into the argument?

Well you were the one who asked me to nominate my reasons for not liking the government. Why ask a question that you would not like the answer of?

The reason why i bought Israel into this, because I feel that it is shameful for Australia that every time the UN attempts to pass something even remotely critical of Israel, it is voted against by the US, Palau, Kiribati and Australia! Australia should have an independent policy relating to Israel, similar to the one we had under Gareth Evans as foreign minister.

So you would rather see Australia abstain or vote against. Are there any other reasons why Australia shouldn't ally itself or support Israel?

Cheers
