Currently in Darwin and I must say for its size it does very well from its booming construction scene to its vibrant nightlife. Its a very different part of the world up here such as its very relaxed (even more so than Adelaide!), friendly, very tropical and green, water restrictions are non existance here, very isolated, modern, beautiful weather atm, colour of the flat ocean and the sunsets here are just simply stunning - especially that where I'm staying it overlooks the ocean.

But yeah its quite weird to see sprinklers or taps running during the middle of the day.

I have not seen Darwin before, mind posting any photos?
Visit my website at http://www.edgarchieng.com for more photos of Adelaide and South Australia.

Has anyone else noticed this garden has a distinct lack of beer?

Sure will, I'm actually going to head into the city again today and take alot of photos. Though I probably wont upload them until I get back to Adelaide.

Don't forget to put them in the DARWIN DREAMING thread. I'm going to Darwin in July and will also take many photos, updating some of the many sizeable construction projects.

Good to hear you're enjoying the place.

I am ridiculously tired. What the hell? I blame, in part, all the wine time.
