I have some kind of bun with butter!

Just thought everyone should know. It's really very good.

I'm trying to convince myself that guzzling litres of green tea every day somehow cancels out the ill-effects (who am I kidding; the Wonderful Effects!) of weekend misbehaviour (and Monday/Wednesday/Friday wine time).

I wish there was a way to stop the drunk text messaging, though. Oh dear.

There is actually!

I was reading up on an oldish edition of FHM the other day, and I think Virgin or Vodafone (its a V-brand name I definetly know that) have this service where you type a number (say your ex-girlfriend for example) and send it the company, and they'll block that number from being texted to until 6am the next day, so that you don't end up trying to pull off a late night desperate-attempt for a hookup call. Rather genius methinks.

They also have another number which you text to, and if youre in a really bad date situation that needs escaping pronto, just take a trip to the toilet, sms this number, come back, and within the minute it'll call you with an real-time service operator who'll bargain your way out of escaping the date with some genius excuse.

Not to mention, theres a number going around which you can give to that 'guy/girl-very-interested-in-you, your-too-nice-to-say-no-so-youll-give-them-a-number' person and should they attempt to call you the next day or thereafter, itll provide them with a very pleasant REJECTED message.

I think it's brilliant that people come up with things like this!

Oh, I've heard of that number! Trouble is, I'm often at the same places, so I'll end up seeing all the same people the next week. It's lucky that other people get drunk, isn't it, so that they forget things rather quickly.

I'm actually pretty much over alcohol, so I just had 1 last night. Before that I was booze-free for 4 weeks.

I was meant to go out last night though because I'm going to Mildura this weekend for a birthday and Darwin in 3 weeks time, I thought I better have a quiet one and save myself some money. Plus I had a big one on saturday :P
