You know you're in South Australia when...

...grass is brown, trees are sparse, and the charcoaly-chocolatey-ocre coloured earth starts to become more of a dominant feature than the brown grass the further from Adelaide you are. :)

most have probably seen this, it's been edited and I'm christening the forums with it. :D

re: second last pic:

I remember I had about a couple of hours before I was going to catch up with you. I was at uni, looked out the window, absolutely pissing down beyond belief. I remember thinking to myself "I've been giving this bloke shit about Melbourne's weather for a year, now look what happens"

How cool is the new City Cross?

It did feel a little American though as they had a US News Channel on the plasma's when I was in there.

I love the new City Cross. Every other day I used to walk though that place, right from before the plan, though to the demolition, the phase where it was a series of dimly lit pressboard and scaffolding tunnels, right though to the bustling lunch time destination for office workers. Fantastic stuff.

They seem to always have the International version of CNN.

Does anyone else know what they're going to do with all the space behind the curtains on the 1st floor? Just tenancies or something more?

I don't, but now I am intrigued to have a look next time I go through there!
