I'm off to Queensland!

Today I was offered a job transfer to Queensland, where I've been wanting to live for at least 7 years.

It's a bit scary, but extremely exciting!

I might still keep an eye on this site, at least for a while. After all I have spent 25 years of my life here.

I moved to Central Queensland back beginning of 2012 before temporarily being sent to New Zealand late last year.

I fully expect I'll be within a few inches of numerous large sharks on a very regular and frequent basis.

Fortunately, there will be a few inches of glass between me and the sharks (at Sea World)!

The Gold Coast surrounds are simply beautiful. Burleigh Heads is great for a scenic walk, while the hinterland is simply breathtaking.

Gold Coast itself is only good for a seedy drunken weekend or family holidays.

Thanks. Honestly, I have a list of about 50 amazing things I've never yet done that I know I can do there. That's as well as the things I've already done numerous times and can't wait to do again, and again, and again, and again, and again!

The place is just awesome!

A mate recently left for Queensland, he's in Brisbane. He's loving it, and contrary to what others say, he wont be coming back.
