Bill of Quantity Effectiveness - 4th Year Thesis Topic

My name is Brian Stephens and I am currently completing my 4th year of the Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Honours) degree at the University of South Australia.
It is a requirement of the degree to complete a compulsory Building Research Project as part of the final year of study. The aim of my research is to determine the effectiveness and relevance of a Bill of Quantity (BQ) throughout the entire construction program. While the added benefits of the BQ have been well documented, there is a short fall in research relating to the use of BQs within the Australian construction industry.
