I'll try & put some on tonight. I walked along the Bakewell u/pass, & the crane dominates the West Tce skyline. I was about to leave
Waymouth St when the safety officer called me back & introduced himself and escorted me onto the site for a closer look. He is very
friendly & proud of the site, and is willing to escort others around the site when possible. He was happy for me to put his name &
number on here - John "Johno" Zauch, 0403 468 010, and perhaps mention SA! Site office is in a cottage in Albert St (next to site)
- off Gray Street, or from Waymouth through Prince Court.

Great pics. Judging by the crane, it is quite tall for that part of town. Does anyone know how many metres it is going to be :?:

i agree, the crane looks huge. The building is meant to be 9 levels, but the crane looks big enough for a 14 storey building. Must be my eyes, but it looks taller than Coglin st site crane

The site office is in the attached cottage visible near the crane base in Albert Street, for anyone wanting a closer look. I'm looking
forward to watching this one grow, it's a change from the 2-3 story t/houses in the Gray St area.

It's always great to get back from holidays, and notice another crane up!

Fantastic!
Walking on over....

This building is now up to the third floor of construction so will be able to be seen soon from West Tce. Its a pretty unimaginative construction but better than nothing in this end of town.

The crane is an electric drive, rather than diesel engine. Don't know if that is normal for this type of crane.

It was hard enough getting that shot, because the carpark has a western blank wall, I had to hang my arm out of the bars just hoping I will be able to get a decent shot of Ipad - you can see a bit of the wall on the right hand side.

I gathered that crawf, but I've noticed that some of your other shots have a lean as well, see: Octagon Apartments for example. Noticed a few others have the same problem so it isn't just you mate. In general though the pics are good. :)
