So this one has been submitted to the airport meaning it must breach at least one of the height limits. For this area it must be at least 25 stories I would think.

Could it be fewer storeys and referred for a temporary crane OLS breach?

Cranes are a separate application to the building so it wouldn't be that :)

I wonder if it will be Apartments or an Office building - can't really see the demand for an Office building at the present time of that size.

However, i am glad we are finally having one of these exposed car parks covered up - fingers crossed!

Being Adelaide, it's not entirely impossible... and not only that, but it may well be a 25+ level car park.

It's pretty noticeable in Adelaide that not only do we have lots of major car parking stations but they are really quite tall compared to many of their surrounding buildings.

Case in point being the Mill Street car park where the ACC approved them adding 2 or 3 levels to what was already an 8 level car park... at around the same time they were denying the proposal to build a 10 or 11 storey office tower almost right next door to it on the grounds it wouldn't fit with the surrounds... the mind boggles...

Im all for mixed class buildings, more the better I say.

But has the developer realised that "stage one" of this is, located North bound 10m is a rather large, unfortunate eyesore of a multi story car park?

Hopefully they've redesigned this one. The previous design was one of the worst proposals I've ever seen. It looked like a shipping container.
