Yesterday, core is starting and the IAG house is getting there too. The Roof supports are now on.

The first column supports are in place with pouring collars on site too. The core looks to have expanded, so expect a form box on it soon.

Can anyone confirm if these pics have actually posted? I am having problems over on SSC with pic posting. Wondering if the same is happening here? When I view this page I can see the photos unlike my last attempt at posting when I couldn't, so I am hoping they are there :?

UrbanSG, no luck here on all of your pics. Perhaps try photobucket?

UrbanSG, I can see the photos.

Going back to the topic, the IAG insurance building is definately having a positive impact on Flinders Street. From the last photo it appears to be higher than 35m. Does anyone know how high it is?

It is having a positive impact yes, but it certainly doesn't look over 35m. Looks about that.

Even if it is 35m, it qualifies as a high-rise on Emporis.

Emporis have changed their rules regarding high-rise clasification. Before a building had to be 12 levels or over to be classified as high-rise, however now a building just has to be 35m or over.

If someone to investgate the building's actual structural height it would be really great.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but capcity have updated their news section and created a developments page for the CBD, about time! It has a new render of Santos and IAG from a different angle as well as Light Square offices. The pics are very small so not the best quality and the link is for a pdf site so be warned!
