There has been a tall crane at Penfield somewhere near the railyards or Treasury Wines warehouse for several weeks too. I assume it is a crawler rather than concreted to the ground, but have not been able to see it close enough to be certain.

2/9/2018 there is a crane base at 4 esplanade Glenelg site but it is not concreted in yet ,so crane could be at least a week away.

For a moment today there were 3 cranes at Gray St before the hammer head crane began to take the previous southern crane down.
