The market St crane is nearly complete except for stringing up some cables.at 5 pm Sat 30/3/2019. This crane was previously at the urbanest site in synagogue place.

The U2 crane was still at the tower stage at 5 pm Sat 30/3/2019, with the rest of the crane beam assembled in Waymouth St on the ground.

The Frome St crane has got the climbing frame attached near the top of the tower so it could gain in height very soon. 30/3/2019

The Frome St crane has definitely gained height. Also the Realm lift core is just visible behind the student tower in Synagogue place. Click on picture for Bigger.

This didn't work as well as I thought it would but was intended to show the deconstruct of the crane at UCity and the U2 reconstruct.

We all (me included) keep calling the Waymouth development “U2”. Isn’t it called something else now?

I believe its a hotel but no official press release yet.

While the number of CBD cranes hasn't really increased over the past couple of years, it's still encouraging to at least see them moving to a new project upon completion of a previous development.

When I was living in Adelaide during the mid to late 90's, I recall going for months, even a year or 2 without a single crane on the skyline.

Crane went up today in the vicinity of 248 South Terrace and student accommodation 89 Gray Street crane coming down.

The Gray St crane is 1/2 down, the tower sections will come down tomorrow. The South Tce crane is in line with Glen Osmond Rd.

This is a small apartment project consisting of Ground floor car park, 6 levels of apartments plus roof top BBQ area.

252 South Tce. There is actually only one Large apartment per floor.
