Plans are up on the DAC website. Unfortunately, they are password locked at the moment though.

This is expected to be approved at Thursdays DAC meeting.

20 levels, 84.5m high 3 levels (3,770 m2) of Retail. In the renders it shows "J&M" signage. J is next to the H on the keyboard. Maybe they are not moving into Rundle Mall Plaza afterall.

Not many high quality renders but looks pretty decent.

Far better than the previous proposal. Nothing amazing on it's own, but it's much more respectful to the character of North Tce and integrates a lot better with the Gallerie buildings.

Looks great but possibly they should have gone higher. Also anyone know if the 18 storey building planned directly in-front of the new tower on the left is still going ahead? http://203northterrace.com.au

A great proposal... As I mentioned on the CBD retail thread, could this be the reason for Woolworths considering a move? If linked up to this it would provide a considerable Rundle Mall frontage with a further frontage on Gawler Place.

Unfortunately its separate owners and a totally separate building that faces the Rundle Mall [the Woolworths building.]

There's also a laneway between the two buildings (Fisher Pl), which will be used for car park access to this proposal.

Far out... AMAZING!. Decent height, quality design and the retail component is super exciting. Not just in terms of the floor space, though the activation it will bring to both Gawler Place and North Terrace.

I've posted the floor plans of the planned retail space in the CBD retail thread.

I will add my two cents (though it's much of what other's have said).
I like this, a lot! I hope that it is HnM that moves into this space.
This may be a question for the laneway thread but is Gawler Place getting a revamp? There is a lot of laneway activation I can't keep up at the moment. :D :applause:

Yep, the Gawler Place upgrade is due to start in January or March next year.

Wow these look good. The modern glassy style is what we've been wanting and Adelaide has need for ages. They're going to compliment Realm and Frome tower nicely.

Looks good. Hopefully this time around it comes to fruition. Would be a major win for the mall if H&M are a part of this. Ultimately I think the likes of H&M, Zara, Uniqlo etc. being present in the mall is inevitable.

Filler design for filler buildings, but I'm happy nonetheless!

It'll be great to see Gawler Plc and North Tce reactivated. Not to mention that this development and the several nearby will help concentrate activity in the city's heart - sustaining it as one of the busiest precincts in the country.

I hope this and the tram kickstart the long dormant proposal for Gawler Chambers.

Looks pretty nice on the whole.

One thing I'm slightly unsure about is the terrace and retail pavilion they're planning on building on the heritage structure. While I do like the idea of that area becoming accessible to the public, I don't think the structure particularly suits the existing building, kind of like that ugly extension to Tobin House next door.

So I'm hoping that the pavilion won't be too visible from North Terrace, which fortunately the third render Ben posted seems to indicate, although it seems slightly inconsistent with the size of it in the first render.

But that aside, hoping to see this one go ahead. It will very nicely complement the planned upgrade to Gawler Place and the tram extension out the front. It will also add some nice bulk to the northern skyline view and help modernise it.
