Well, Fasta Pasta closed it's doors today, after 23 years at the Pirie St/Hyde St site. They are going to re-open on the corner of South Tce and Pulteney St (the old Frost Bites bar I guess). So, the Aurora project could end up going all the way to Hyde St. No notices at Ciao Restaurant though.

That red bar treatment looks a little more professional than Flinders Link IMO Mants. Well hopefully anyway.

Don't Fasta Pasta already have a restaurant 2 doors down from the Pulteney South Tce corner? Are they closing both and consolidating?

i'd say you're about on the mark; and that would get you something at the back, lower levels only (same way apartments work; the higher you go and the bettwr the view, the more expensive the product).

The signage is on all the buildings from KPMG to Hyde St, so I guess that tells us how big the footprint will be.

Zamels owns the old Powerstate credit Union Site, The 4 level building next door, The Ciao, Fasta/Pasta site and the 2 level building down hyde st.

All of the above buildings are vacent except the 2 level building in Hyde st and the Ciao restaurant and Joggers World. Joggers world are relocating to their old site (where the explosion was last year) in about August this year when the building will be finished.

Behind the old Powerstate Head office there is a rather large ground level only carpark. So really there is a lot of vacant buildings and land already so no wonder they are keen to get on with it.

Curiously, there seems to be a re-fit going on in the ground floor of one of those buildings :?
