Don't know if I like the design or not, I'll wait to I'll see more renders though the height is fantastic. Geez city's liveness and skyline is going to be so much different in a few years.

That this is the succesor to the Dakota on Wyatt project, as it is being developed by Hindmarsh, the same company that developed Flinders Link. Additionally, the building will cover much of the IAG building's ugly carpark façade fronting Wyatt Street.

That Santos HQ blank concrete wall is a disgrace. It is actually rather obvious from some northern vantage points. Could have at least had some detailing. The best thing about that building is its interior, definately not the exterior.

This proposal looks great. All these developments in Adelaide are crazy. Hopefully the recent poor sharemarket results and worries concerning property trusts and the credit crisis will not impact on the ability of these projects to establish financing. That would be typical Adelaide luck, finally we get a heap of projects and a worldwide recession hits. Hopefully not. Good times can't last for ever even with a mining boom but hopefully at least a bit longer.

im speechless as to the number of proposals and approvals which we have got over the last fortnight.

In the last two weeks or so I count the twin towers on Bank St, this one, the Hills tower and the two? at Renaissance - a stunning set of events - more like what Adelaide's image should and IMO will be. It's like a catalyst has occurred and business is confident enough to actually invest in Adelaide. (Given the current scenarios)This is all in the face of the credit scare at present as well.

Can hardly stay away from the PC to find out more

I'm glad this site is being re-considered. I thought it was a real shame when Dakota didn't go anywhere, as this is a great site for a mixed use style development. Hopefully this proposal actually gets off the ground to improve this very central location.

This one looks good, but it still looks similar the other buildings that are being proposed... We should be a bit more exciting and innovative with our architecture. But, I will take any tender and render!!!

At the upcoming ACC DAP meeting next Monday, it is expected that the ACC will grant planning APPROVAL to this building. Although it exceeds the height limit by almost 11m, it is deemed to be of high merit, as such warranting planning approval.
