Some pretty big statements
Freedom Apartments - Student Living at its very best.
South Australia is the education State of Australia and Adelaide is the Education capital of the country
Located adjacent to the West Parklands and offering spectacular northern and southern views, the Freedom Apartments will be Adelaide's largest dedicated Student Living complex.
Offering 319 one and two bedroom apartments with spacious break out areas, state of the art communications systems and high level security, Freedom will be recognised internationally as Adelaide's best destination for this generation's leading international students.
Getting from the Freedom Apartments to all of Adelaide's major educational institutions is a breeze, take a 5 minute walk or catch the public transport at the front door, whichever way you choose to get there you'll arrive safe and sound and with a minimum of fuss.

How's that for constructive criticism?

The design is nothing special, but at least it will bring some much needed height and life to the area!

I would back these designs a lot more if they just had a better Western facade. They are what people see when first coming into Adelaide's CBD off of Sir Don. Their western facades are just a put off.

What i would like is no service stn nest to them and a clear parkland/lawned area right across the front. This would greatly enhance the western facade.

I believe that there's a hairdressing academy about 5 minutes up Grote St.

Yes and a stone's throw from the Adelaide Mail exchange.

Doesn't this proposal mean the Mail exchange is up for demolition?

There's a service station on the western boundary. That's not exactly a prime view, especially if you're on the lower floors.
