Wow, that is impressive to say the least. Adds so much density to that area, even though only like 40m high or so. After viewing this, providing there is enough demand for it, i certainly hope it gets built.

^^ Likewise. It looks like it is a high quality development much needed for that section of town.

When are they going to develop the old petrol station that sits dormant diagonally opposite this site? Maybe Yorke Campus will help.

I like it.

I'm not sure why people hate campus developments so much. NAB Docklands is probably one of my favourite developments in Australia.

A development application has been lodged with the council for the site at 98-130 Angas Street.

It is for the demolition of existing buildings and for the construction of 3 mixed use commercial buildings ranging in height from 8 to 10 levels and comprising basement car-parking, motor vehicle dealership and associated services, ground floor retail tenancies and office accomodation.

This development has been classified as Category 2, and is expected to cost $56 million.

Yeah this is definately a goer. My dad's work is relocating to a new 2 level office on the site (old cartridge world jobbie) and they've been told about the campus project construction that will take place.

For the developers to act so quickly on this development, they must already have a tentative agreement for a large proportion of floor space which would be great as it would not necessarily affect any of the other developments that are in the pipeline that have been listed previously.

That looks fucking awesome. Simple as that.

That would make such a cool podium, imagine 30 levels of glass on top of that!

So the building on the corner of Angas and Pulteney has been redesigned! Looks way better than the original glass box. This is going to be a fantastic addition to the skyline (even though it won't be too noticeable) especially in that relatively flat section of the city.

BTW that is a nice render.

That does look very nice. Wish all street lights looked like that though.

Although the buildings look nice, I am worried that this development contains around 74 000m2 of office space! This could derail some actual high-rise proposals. The buildings will not be very noticeable, with both 10 level towers being only 35m high, and the smaller 8 level one only 28m.

The smaller 8 level building can be built separately. However the 2 larger 10 level buildings which contain around 90% of the office space cannot, as they share a common underground carpark.

While its all flashy and nice and yeah yeah......
I agree with whoever said that it derails hi-rise possibilities. In QLD terms, thats a 200m tower down the drain.
